The taxi traffic accident rate (number of taxi traffic accidents / number of operating taxi vehicles) increased from 10.7% in 2017 to 10.9% in 2022. 
The number of fatalities and injuries caused by taxi road traffic accidents in 2022 was 11,504, the highest number since 2017.
