The primary purpose of Taxi Business Survey is to collect data on taxi's operational status in Taiwan. The information will be used to serve as a reference for managing taxi industry and for transportation planning.
     By the end of 2023, there were 91,654 registered taxis in Taiwan, and the number of diversified taxis reached 26,851, which was nearly 30% of the total. Among the respondents, 81.7% were full-time taxi drivers.
     According to the 2023 Taxi Business Survey, the average monthly operating revenue for full-time taxi drivers was NT$48,766, of which drivers  affiliated with dispatch fleets reported an average monthly operating revenue of NT$52,939, and diversified taxi drivers reported NT$54,499.
